Fair-Use Policy

Vectrio is built to make space design and DIY planning fast, simple, and available to everyone — no registration, no ads, and no hidden subscriptions. The tools are free to use under this fair-use policy. This page complements our Terms of Service.

1. Free and allowed

  • Personal projects: Planning your own home, furniture layout, garden, or garage.
  • Education and non-profit work: Use by students, teachers, schools, universities, and registered non-profit organizations.
  • Research and hobbies: Anything you do for yourself, family, or friends without receiving payment.

2. What we consider commercial use

If you are an architect, interior designer, contractor, carpenter, or tradesperson and you use Vectrio to:

  • Produce sketches, plans, or estimates that you charge clients for
  • Speed up work inside your company or craft business
  • Generate materials for projects that directly earn you profit

…then please support the project. There is no registration or license check — we rely on honesty and professional integrity. If the tools saved you hours and helped you close work, consider a symbolic voluntary donation toward infrastructure and further development.

3. Strictly prohibited

  • Resale and rebranding: Copying Vectrio’s code, repackaging it under another name, and selling it as your own product or API.
  • Mass scraping: Using automated scripts to bulk-download 2D/3D library objects from our servers for use in competing apps.
  • Reverse engineering and redistribution: Unauthorized duplication or reverse engineering of application code, UI, 3D logic, or nesting algorithms.

4. Disclaimer

Vectrio is provided as is. We aim for accurate material calculations, dimensions, and collision detection, but we are not responsible for calculation errors, data loss (projects are stored locally on your device), or any damage arising from use of the tools. Always double-check measurements before buying materials or altering walls.
